So here is the official first post of my blog. The reason for not posting it earlier is that I haven't had access to internet in my new home yet! This will hopefully be quickly remedied since our landlord is a very helpful and kind person!
The past week has been spent getting registered at school, exploring, and making new friends. I have to admit, I haven't participated much in the activities of what is called ISW (Introductory Seminar Week) at Trent....body paint, cheers, and booze have never been my thing. But I have met some wonderful people and I am very proud to go to Trent...especially since our mascot is a sword named Excalibur! How cool is that?
I am also extremely fortunate/blessed to have found two AMAZING housemates and a beautiful house! School starts on Monday and I'll be sure to post about that. Until then, enjoy the pictures of my new home!

The house has two floors: on the first are the bedrooms, bathroom, and kitchen; and upstairs is a lovely loft area where we have set up a living room, a relaxation area, and a TV/games area (please note my other housemate, Chloe)
